Big Four Ice Caves

Although a bit windy and rainy, we decided to hike Big Four Ice Caves. Previous avalanches from the rocks above the caves filled in the entrances pretty well. To enter the caves, you would have to climb down into them. Which we didn't. So we made plans to visit them again in the fall, before the heavy snowfall :) Jack had a great time, happy to be in the front pack looking all around. 

At 14 months, Jack's a walker

Over the last month, Jack has practiced taking a step or two here and there. Over the weekend and into his 14th month, January 20th, Jack has walked across the room multiple times!! He finds it easier if he is carrying something. Maybe it takes his mind off the fact that he is walking and could fall any minute ;) I look forward to watching him become more stable and faster over the next days and weeks! Watch out, Jack is walking!

Oh and on Sunday, January 19th, Brandon and I watched the loudest, most intense, stomach churning playoff game. The Seahawks came out victorious and clinched the NFC championship. We're Super Bowl bound to play Denver!

At the end of the game, watching the ceremony, cheering with 68,000 screaming fans. What a night :)

Leavenworth, the first weekend of the new year, with Brandon's family and no snow. Jack is standing for long periods without balancing and taking a couple steps more often. He will be a walker in the next few months; right now he still believed crawling is easier and way faster. Jack is good at giving hugs on command now! Tell Jack, 'give big hug' and he'll give you the biggest bear hug that lasts at least a few seconds!!! ❤❤
